Sightseeing Flights

Chesapeake Seaplanes offers sightseeing flights at Colonial Beach, VA from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend on weekends and holidays, weather permitting.

Flight options include:

Colonial Beach from the Air: Provides a birds eye view of this charming small Virginia town and the surrounding area. ($25 per person)

Westmoreland: George Washington’s birthplace flight gives one the rare opportunity to view from the air this beautiful National historic site. ($40 per person)

Stratford Hall: Robert E. Lee’s birthplace and Westmoreland as a combo flight offers the unique opportunity to view the birthplace historical estates of these two great Americans. ($60 per person)

Design your own flight: Your own personalized air tour that can be flown anywhere within a 25 mile radius of Colonial Beach. (Prices on request)

All Colonial Beach flights depart from the public beach along the boardwalk. Look for the blue and white "Seaplane Rides" banner. A great gift idea and Gift Certificates are available for special occasions.

Sightseeing flights from other locations may be arranged. We will be more than happy to work with you in making such arrangements.
